About Terún Cycling.

Terún Cycling was founded in 2004 in Palo Alto, California. We support a healthy, active lifestyle, promoting cycling in Northern California and beyond. The team is comprised of a club team and an elite racing team. The club team is a community of regular bike riders who enjoy gathering for training and adventure rides, and occasionally even toeing the line at a local NCNCA race. The club organizes monthly coffee rides that meet at the Terún restaurant for a 35–65 mile route around the peninsula.

The elite team is a select group of professional and semi-professional bike racers that aim to compete at the highest level in North America and beyond. The team's goal is to develop international-level cycling talent, and to represent our sponsors in a professional manner at Northern California races, as well as the major US Stage Races and Criteriums. Racers on the elite team gain experience racing under the guidance of an experienced Director Sportif, Race Mechanic, and Soigneur, navigating caravan cars, race radio, and the intricacies of race dynamics.

We aim to have fun on the bike, achieve personal performance goals, support each other, and represent our sponsors well. We value partnering with good folks and brands.

The team is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a four-member Board of Directors that meets quarterly. Previous iterations of the team are: Squadra Ovest, Squadra SF p/b Terun, and Terun Cycling.
