Roll up, hop on a bike, and see what you can do. We are putting a row of bikes on stationary trainers under the tents on Cal Ave. — and the ovens at the restaurant are running the whole time. Ride, eat pizza, stay for the music. All of it is free.

Bikes on trainers
Take a turn on the trainers
A row of bikes on stationary trainers, under our tents. No kit, no cleats, no experience needed — flat pedals are on, the saddle height gets set for you, and you can ride for thirty seconds or ten minutes. Kids are welcome; we have a bike sized for them.
From the pizzeria
Pizza from Terún, 5 to 8
The restaurant is a block away and it is where this whole team started. We will be serving pizza at the station for the full three hours, from the same kitchen and the same dough as the dining room.
How it works
Three steps, no sign-up
Find the tents
Look for the blue and pink kit and the row of bikes on the car-free stretch. We are set up for the full three hours, so there is no need to be there at five.
Get on a bike
Tell us roughly how tall you are and we will set the saddle. Street clothes are completely fine. Hop on whenever a bike frees up — there is no list and no timer.
Ride, then eat
Spin easy or go after the number on the screen, whichever you are in the mood for. Pizza is right there when you get off.

California Avenue between El Camino Real and Birch Street, Palo Alto
The street closes to cars for the evening. Caltrain stops at California Ave., there is bike parking at either end, and the garages off Cambridge and Sherman are the closest places to leave a car. Ride there if you can — it is the easiest way in, and we like the company.

A cycling team that started in a pizzeria
Terún Cycling races as SpeedBlock-Terún out of Palo Alto — elite men, elite women, a development squad, kids, and a club that rides every weekend. The club rolls out from the restaurant, and anyone can join. Come say hello at the station and we will tell you the rest.
